humux is made by Merola Software & Services, an independent software studio based in Zürich, Switzerland.
humux is a squad of AI agents that acts like a full team of experts at your disposal — a lead who breaks the work down, a developer who ships the code, a researcher who reads everything, a marketer, a QA. You give them an ambition; they do the work and report back.
It all runs in one Docker container, on your hardware, under your own API keys. No account to create, no dashboard in someone else's data centre, no telemetry phoning home. The personal-assistant side — email, calendar, briefings, voice — is the foundation the squad stands on.
It is built in the open, MIT licensed, every commit public. That is a deliberate choice rather than a marketing angle: your most ambitious ideas shouldn't depend on someone else's cloud, someone else's pricing page, or someone else's decision to sunset a product. If the studio disappeared tomorrow, your squad would keep running.
There is no venture money and no growth target behind this — just software built the way we'd want to use it, shipped when it's ready, and kept honest by the people running it on their own machines.
